Caravan Water Tank Quick Filler

Filling the tank is the dullest ten minutes of setting up.

You stand there holding a hose against the inlet, half of it pushing back out at you, waiting for a tank to fill at a trickle. Then you do it again at the next park.

This is a quick-connect filler with an on/off valve. Clip it on, turn it on, and go do something else.

What it actually does

• On/off valve — you're not standing there holding anything. Turn it on and walk away.
• Fills faster — opens up the path into the tank instead of choking the flow at the inlet
• Less backwash — cuts the water that pushes straight back out while you're filling
• Helps flush the tank — shifts sediment and grime, which makes changing the anode a much less unpleasant job
• Standard garden hose fitting — clicks on, clicks off, no plumbing changes
• Lives in the glovebox — 47 cm and 65 grams
